A glorious day in Cadiz with a deep blue sky and a few wispy clouds – perfect conditions for the fisheye – the fisheye loves blue skys and hates cloudy grey. Coupled with the strong architectural lines and intricate details of the many balconies in Cadiz some interesting compositions can be found.

I have never been anywhere where so many of the buildings have balconies – in Cadiz many of the balconies are glazed behind the wrought iron, quite unusual.

A number of walking routes around the old town are marked with a coloured line – here I liked the way the blue line mirrors the blue of the strip of sky.

The fisheye is always good for the abstract and I have found surprisingly not as subject to lens flare as I had expected even when pointed towards the sun.
