I am always on the lookout for somewhre to use my Fishy Fun Samyang 8mm fisheye lens, its fun to use and you never quite know what your are going to get.
Fisheyes like bold structures, foreground details and blue skies so the Marina development in southern Dubai looked like an ideal location to give it a spin.
At the northern end of the Marina you can find the Cayan Tower, this has to be one of the most amazing buildings in Dubai if not anywhere, it is as far as I am aware the only building anywhere that does a full 90 degree twist as it zooms skyward – the sheer novelty of this building makes it an irrestitable subject for a curve inducing fisheye lens.
A Good Place to Stand
