Malvern Hills

The Malvern Hills are a range of hills in the English counties of Worcestershire, Herefordshire and a small area of northern Gloucestershire, dominating the surrounding countryside and the towns and villages of the district of Malvern.

The highest summit of the hills affords a panorama of the Severn Valley to the east with the hills of Herefordshire and the Welsh mountains to the west, parts of thirteen counties, the Bristol Channel, and the cathedrals of Worcester, Gloucester and Hereford. The view from the ridge is rated by many as one of the finest in England.

As is often the case with a great all encompassing view it doesn’t make for great photography unless a wide panaorama can be taken – with that in mind here is something new a 360 degree panorama, in this case captured about 120m above the ridge with a DJI Mavic 2 Pro drone (be sure to select 4K and pause the video to drag around and view).
